作為支持治療科及日間化療病區(qū)主任，三十多年來，一直從事腫瘤學(xué)臨床、教學(xué)和科研工作，具有豐富的臨床經(jīng)驗(yàn)和較強(qiáng)的科研能力，長期致力于常見惡性腫瘤內(nèi)科診治、規(guī)范化、個(gè)體化及綜合治療，支持/姑息治療的臨床和基礎(chǔ)研究，取得了較為突出的成績。獲得國家自然科學(xué)基金以及省部級(jí)科研資助項(xiàng)目10余項(xiàng)，先后以第一作者/通訊作者在SCI索引期刊及專業(yè)核心期刊發(fā)表論文共計(jì)200余篇，擔(dān)任主編主譯著作6部。作為主研人獲得省部級(jí)科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)/三等獎(jiǎng)數(shù)項(xiàng)。教學(xué)工作上，追求嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)闹螌W(xué)作風(fēng)，共培養(yǎng)博士研究生21名，碩士研究生49名。重視傳授腫瘤支持/姑息治療及人文關(guān)懷理念，受邀在全國及省市級(jí)別線上及線下大會(huì)進(jìn)行支持/姑息治療/頭頸部腫瘤相關(guān)主題報(bào)告百余場，共同交流支持/姑息治療/頭頸部腫瘤治療新進(jìn)展，牽頭舉辦多場腫瘤支持/姑息治療研討會(huì)及工作坊。連續(xù)多年舉辦“支持邂逅日間”國家繼教項(xiàng)目以及世界姑息日系列科普患教活動(dòng)，倡導(dǎo)人文醫(yī)學(xué)，為培養(yǎng)綜合性專業(yè)人才以及推動(dòng)多學(xué)科協(xié)作的腫瘤支持/姑息醫(yī)學(xué)事業(yè)的發(fā)展作出了突出的貢獻(xiàn)。

近年來，探索并實(shí)施早期支持/姑息治療模式，將支持/姑息治療理念整合到日間抗腫瘤治療中，幫助腫瘤患者滿足身、心、社、靈需求及提升其生活質(zhì)量，同時(shí)更好地為腫瘤患者提供醫(yī)療照護(hù)服務(wù)積累理論依據(jù)，團(tuán)隊(duì)先后獲得國際癌癥支持協(xié)會(huì)(MASCC)指定的卓越癌癥支持治療中心，中國臨床腫瘤學(xué)會(huì)(CSCO)首批國家級(jí)腫瘤營養(yǎng)指導(dǎo)中心示范項(xiàng)目單位，全國首批化療引起惡心嘔吐(CINV)規(guī)范化管理示范單位等稱號(hào)。同時(shí)依托北京大學(xué)腫瘤醫(yī)院日間化療中心，倡導(dǎo)創(chuàng)立了由醫(yī)生、護(hù)師、藥師、營養(yǎng)師共同參與的多學(xué)科支持治療團(tuán)隊(duì)，對(duì)每位有需求的患者進(jìn)行綜合評(píng)價(jià)，并結(jié)合患者的經(jīng)濟(jì)狀況、文化程度、患者和家屬的意愿及治療后可能對(duì)患者的社會(huì)狀況、心理所造成的影響等，制定適合個(gè)體及家庭的治療方案并做出有意義的探索和研究。
