主要致力于腫瘤分子生物學(xué)和轉(zhuǎn)化醫(yī)學(xué)研究,在細(xì)胞周期調(diào)控、基因組穩(wěn)定性和細(xì)胞癌變機(jī)制研究中取得原創(chuàng)性和系統(tǒng)性成果,從較深的層面揭示了抑癌基因在調(diào)控細(xì)胞周期和維持基因組穩(wěn)定性中的功能,豐富了人們對(duì)抑癌基因在細(xì)胞周期檢測(cè)點(diǎn)、基因組穩(wěn)定性和基因調(diào)控中生物學(xué)作用的認(rèn)識(shí)。在基因組水平全面系統(tǒng)的揭示了食管鱗癌的遺傳突變背景,為了解食管鱗癌的發(fā)病機(jī)理、尋找食管鱗癌診斷的分子標(biāo)志物、確定研發(fā)臨床治療的藥物靶點(diǎn)以及制定有效治療方案提供了理論和實(shí)驗(yàn)依據(jù)。在國(guó)際醫(yī)學(xué)生物學(xué)雜志上發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文270余篇,包括Nature、Cell、Science、Cell
Research、STTT、JCI、PNAS、EMBO、Molecular Cancer、JEV、Cancer
Research、Oncogene等。出版學(xué)術(shù)著作7部,獲得授權(quán)專(zhuān)利15項(xiàng)。應(yīng)邀在國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議上作大會(huì)報(bào)告120余次,15次擔(dān)任國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議主席。
